Prabhas Rebel to Shoot In Bangkok

The film Rebel, starring Prabhas, Tamanna and Deeksha Seth in the lead roles, is presently busy shooting at various locations in and around Hyderabad. Once this schedule is completed, the unit will fly to Bangkok to can a couple of songs.

Rebel is being produced by J. Bhagwan and J. Pulla Rao under the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media and directed by Raghava Lawrence. The music for the film has been composed by SS Thaman. The action scenes are being supervised by Ram-Laxman.

Krishnam Raju, uncle of Prabhas, plays the role of father to hero. The cast includes Kelly Dorji, Shayaji Shinde, Jayaprakash Reddy, Chalapathi Rao, Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana and others.

Rebel is being planned for release in December.

Anushka Out Thamannah In for "REBEL"

With Anushka opted out of the 'Rebel' project directed by Raghava Larencce and produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao on the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media with Prabhas as hero, the director immediately contacted Tamanna and made her to sign the dotted line for the movie.The third schedule of Rebel is slated to begin in Hyderabad from September 15.

Giving details about the progress of the film, producers say, 'We are planning our third schedule from September 15 in Hyderabad. The schedule would continue without any break and the unit would complete the shooting in Hyderabad and leave for Bangkok and would wrap up the shooting with Vizag schedule. Prabhas and Tamanna are pairing up for the first time, while Deeksha Seth is playing another heroine. We are very happy for doing a hit film with a hero like Prabhas. We will never forget the cooperation extended by Prabhas in the film production. Moreover, Larencce too is not compromising on any occasion and is committed to bring out a super hit film. We are thrilled for bringing out such a high budget film and it would be the careers highest budget film for Prabhas too.'

Prabhas says, 'My look would be different in this film after 'Mr Perfect'. The film would be quite stylish to suit the title 'Rebel'. Larencce is bringing out the film in an extraordinary manner. The film has all kinds of elements the audiences would expect from my film.'

Director says, 'The story of the film would suit at its best to Prabhas' personality and image. Such kind of film should be done by Prabhas and none others. The producers are cooperating in every matter and we are sure that the film would be a definite hit.'

Tamannah not yet confirmed in Rebel

The reports in media went on to say that, Anushka was not happy with the changes made to the script of 'Rebel' by Lawrence. Lawrence has intentionally degraded the role of Anushka in 'Rebel', for turning down the female lead role in his previous flick 'Kanchana' by saying the script didn't excite her. The same role was later offered to Lakshmi Rai, who played the love interest of Lawrence in the film.

According to the sources, Lawrence even treated Sweety very badly on the sets of 'Rebel'. He constantly kept criticizing her by saying she had put on weight and looking plump. After a point Anushka couldn't take Lawrence's behaviour any more and decided to walk out of the project. Prabhas stood as a silent spectator of all these ugly tactics by Lawrence.

However, Lawrence condemned the reports as baseless rumours.

"The reasons are purely professional. Anushka opted out of 'Rebel' because she could not adjust her dates. In fact, I had already shot with her for two days for the film, a few months back. Her subsequent dates could not be used because of the Tollywood strike. 'Rebel' is a mass entertainer and I want my heroine to look voluptuous! So, the question of me commenting adversely on her weight does not arise. I think, she is perfect," said Lawrence.

Rebel Resumes Shooting In Hyderabad
