Rebel packs up from Himayat Sagar

Young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently working for a movie titled ‘Rebel’ and the shooting of the movie was on at the Himayat Sagar guest house for the last couple of days. A few key introduction shots on Krishnam Raju were filmed here. Krishnam Raju is acting as the father of Prabhas in this movie. Tamanna and Deeksha Seth are the female leads for this film.

Sources say that the movie unit would be going abroad in December to shoot for a couple of songs . Producer Pulla Rao and Director Lawrence will be scouting the locations from December 1st onwards, as per the information we have.

Music is being composed by Thaman. The movie is a stylish action thriller and Prabhas will be sporting a new look for ‘Rebel’.

Rebel resumes Shoot!

The issues around Rebel were sorted out in an amicable manner. The film has resumed shooting for the final long schedule. They are shooting a few scenes near Usman Sagar and Tamanna will join the team from December. Lawrence & Prabhas are hoping to continue their successful track record with Rebel.

Prabhas - Rajamouli Film to begin in April?

One of Prabhas’ upcoming films which will be directed by S S Rajamouli is going to begin from April, 2012 onwards. Although, the film was announced earlier this year, S S Rajamouli became quite busy with Eega and Prabhas went on to act in films like Mr.Perfect, Rebel and another film which is being directed by Koratala Siva. This Prabhas-SS Rajamouli’s film was touted to be one of the biggest budgeted films to be ever made in Telugu. Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are going to produce the film. It’s still not clear when this film might go on floors, but recently Shobu revealed that they’ll begin working on the project from April onwards. With Rajamouli’s Eega slated to release in March, it seems quite likely that he’ll finally begin working on this period film which also has a mix of mythology and folklore. M M Keeravani is going to compose music for this film.

Rebel in Trouble!

Prabhas’s Rebel, whose final 70day long schedule was to start on November 5 hasn’t gone to floors even after November 15. The Project is in a total mess after differences erupted between the Producers, Director & Hero after replacing Anushka with Tamanna. The film, sources say will not have any schedules this year unless some one come forward to takeover the project.

The producers are already in discussions with Bellamkonda Suresh for a takeover proposal but he is too busy with Bodyguard and is going to wait and watch till Sankranthi gets over. On the other side Prabhas and Tamanna are procceding with their other commitments. Prabhas will start shooting for ‘Vaaradhi’ from December.

It looks like Rebel is going to delayed by 2-3 months and will not release even for Summer 2012!.

Prabhas new film title Vaaradhi

Prabhas is doing a film in the direction of Korutla Siva who attracted viewers with his dialogues in Brindavanam, Oosaravelli.This film titled as Vaaradhi. Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay are the leading ladies in this project. According to the sources the movie is an action entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the tunes for this film and the film will get ready for release next year. This is Koratala Siva’s first project as a director. V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati are producing the film under the banner of UV creations.

Rebel: Cynosure of buyers' eyes

They say, nothing succeeds like success. With a hero like Prabhas, who has two back-to-back hits (Darling and Mr. Perfect) and a director like Larencce Raghava (with Muni and Kanchana in his kitty), Rebel has come to be the cynosure of the buyers' eyes.

The film could go for a big amount, say trade pundits.

Meanwhile, there is scepticism also. The director's last two straight Telugu films, namely Style and Don, did not give profits to its makers. As the result, the director has so far had to rest on the Mass laurels.

In any case, Larencce's Kanchana fetched its producer in Telugu, Bellamkonda Suresh, four times more than what he invested. This statistic makes Rebel the buyers' envy.
